Thank you for coming, I missed you

I wish I could just tell you I love you but it’ll never be the same

Often we get caught up in deception to ignore the pain

I promised I’d never change but all we can hope for is maturation

Often struggled with emotional intelligence, often irrelevant when one is beside themselves

Head in the clouds I can’t help but think about you

Beautiful silence but we go crazy inside, thanks for coming, I missed you

This is not a love letter, I just chose to be honest way too late

It’s a pattern I know, but just ride with me one last time

Use me if you need to clean the pain

Use me if you need to feel sane

Use me if you need someone to blame

You confuse me every time you say I changed, cause I still love you the same

Thank you for coming, I missed you
