Down in the Jungle

Down in the jungle somewhere they not playing fair.

Down in the jungle I knew a girl, they said she wasn’t thick enough

Down in the jungle they said young boy wasn’t trill enough

Down in the jungle, he robbed the plug but they set him up, phone tapped, he in the cell lost as fuck

Down in the jungle babygirl never felt free, now she on Instagram auditioning for the streets

Down in the jungle where the gangstas play, nowadays they spraying even where your kids lay

Down in the jungle there ain’t no rules involved, a bunch of lost souls either trapped in the streets or behind them walls

Down in the jungle where perception beats reality, we was all good broke, now that I’m out….the whole hood mad at me

Down in the jungle too many mommas in black dresses, getting ready to send her baby boy up to heaven

Down in the jungle we need more OG’s, teaching financial literacy, encouraging diplomas or GED’s

Down in the jungle they looking at us crazy, so many shedded tears and blood shed daily

This was a letter for the jungle, I hope y’all hear me, if we all link together we can all be a success story
